Peter Goswami ('23) is an Opinions editor. Their favorite topics to write about include racial issues, LGBTQ+ issues, and personal experiences. They enjoy acting and writing poetry, and aspire to enter the field of biological research while maintaining a thriving career as a writer. Peter enjoys reading, watching TV, and spending time with their family and would describe themself as a food addict.

While the use of drugs is prevalent among teenagers across schools, the stressful and rigorous environment of Stuyvesant fuels its own unique drug culture among students who feel the need to use certain substances as a social tool, an ability enhancer, or an escape.
